When I first arrived in October 2005, Mr F. I used to call you Mr McFlighty yet you didn't correct me once. It was I who realised I was creating a Scot out of you.

I'm just about to delight in your invitation with a bit of cake together with a dram. I am sending a dram down the line to you too!

Cheers and Salut

You'll have to do a little bit research; it certainly is not Black Watch, not dark enough.
I'm impressed with all your links, I guess it's more straightforward to do them on the alternative editor. I don't use it that much.
Great party!

I did but couldn't find it, so I'll have to try again!
Thanks I suppose that it's become somewhat of a feature of most of my entries, and they're easy enough to include.
Thanks! xx-

I haven't found it easy to make more than one link in a post in the old editor or the new one. Someone said they opened up a 'million' tabs (or so it seems from the blogs produced) relating to the links they wished to make, before writing the blog. By bringing up a tab, they could c+p the url in to the body of the text. It sounds a bit time-consuming and tab conscious. I wondered if there wasn't a risk in losing the blog while clicking on tab after tab. Isn't there a more straightforward way?

I use the new editor. I bookmark them then drag and drop them into the entry. Once there the link(s)can be overwritten to whatever you want. I always preview the post and check that they are the right links and do work. xx

So, if I had a www.xxx.co.uk and just write 'I had a little lamb' over the top of the www.etc. the words would hide the url? It sounds curious.

That's right, try it and see!
You may want to change that URL to a different example by the way! xx

Er - yes. It's a teensy bit early for lambing.
I usually write my blogs in the old editor because there are things I can do in that, which don't work in the new one. My browser tells me there are probably complicated ways round the issues, but as I said, for me it looks complicated.
So, next time I blog and need to refer to something, I'll attempt some xxxx's spaces or something, (a change from little lambs). Once copied into said new editor, I could try out the technique that way, perhaps.
It does sound very interesting.
