I've enjoyed doing this the past few years, although I've not actually seen many birds, or any of real interest. Perhaps I'll even get to see one, or more, of these which we sometimes hear but very rarely see !

This year I shall be doing it from the allotment site on Sunday morning. Thankfully the weather forecast is looking reasonable for here in London.

I realised over the weekend that the last two posts I've done could only be read by me !  Little wonder then that neither attracted any comments.

is the magnificent  Snow Leopard.

Friday evening I watched Natural World Snow Leopard:Beyond the myth on BBC2 TV and marvelled at how this big cat lives in such a hostile environment. If you missed the programme and want to watch it please note that it's being repeated later today on BBC2 at 4.55pm.

My PC desktop background is usually of an aeroplane but at the moment it's this wonderful creature.
