This so pleasant and so much nicer than the 'best ever...' awards which leave an odd querying feeling about them. This consideration does the exact opposite because it is so kindly phrased and is open to friendly interpretation that does not leave anyone out in the cold.

This week rain has kept me away from the plot unfortunately. It's going well, although it's going to be a while yet before anything but yet more weeds grow on it.

Have you planted out potatoes? Up here 'new' ground is cleared, weeded or whatever, then potatoes planted into it to 'clean it' and get the earth working so-to-speak, as well as obtaining by such means, a useful crop.

No I haven't. It was worked until last year and where I've forked and weeded it's very good. I'm going to plant a few things come the autumn and then really get going next spring.
I'm going to have more flowers than vegetables, plus some soft fruit and herbs.
The important thing is that I'm making steady progress and enjoying myself.

Wordpress is a general blogsite, it's American with over 1.3 million world wide blogs. I also blog as FlightBuff there. Links to both are on my blog here.
I will do the occasional entry here charting my plots progress.
