Watching TV

I don't watch much TV nowadays but I have been watching the superb Planet Earth. Last Sundays, Deserts, and an earlier one, Mountains, both showed some stunning images of the environment and wildlife. The series continues in the autumn and it's something I look forward to with anticipation.
Last Sunday BBC2 started a repeat showing of the series Coast which was shown last year. It covers a 11,700 mile trip around the British coastline. I missed a few so I'm glad that I'll be able to catch up with those.
Tonight sees the first in a new series of Grand Designs starting on Channel 4 at 9.00 pm. The affable presenter Kevin McCloud looks at a spectacular, light-filled glass pavilion floating over a private loch in Scotland.
